District 3 boys 4A basketball: Wyomissing, Oley Valley stay alive for a state playoff berth with overtime wins

Brady Eisenhower hit a three-point shot as time expired in double overtime to lift Wyomissing to a 58-55 win over Eastern York in the District 3 Class 4A boys basketball consolation semifinals on Monday at Wyomissing.

The win keeps the Spartans’ hopes of a PIAA tournament berth alive. District 3 sends five teams to the state tournament in 4A. Wyomissing (15-10) will play Oley Valley (14-10) on Thursday for the state playoff berth at Wyomissing High School.

Oley stayed alive with an 82-78 overtime win over Susquenita in the other consolation semifinal game on Monday.

Eisenhower, who 20 points in the game, scored nine points in the two overtimes. He had three 3-pointers in the game.

Also for the Spartans, Dom Arguelles had 20 points and Daniel Moyer had 12.

Wyomissing and Oley played on Jan. 16 with the Spartans winning 71-69 in double overtime.
