Arizona Advances to NCAA Tennis Second Round

8th-seeded Arizona swept NAU 4-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, advancing to face Clemson in the second round Saturday.

The Wildcats (22-4) won their opening NCAA match for the sixth consecutive season at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. Jay Friend, Filip Gustafsson and Alejandro Arcilla each won in straight sets to secure the victory in less than 90 minutes. betsport24.es

Arizona will face Clemson (17-12) Saturday at 1 p.m. PT. The Tigers needed 3-set victories from their No. 1 and No. 5 singles players to defeat Ole Miss 4-3. A win would send Arizona to its fourth consecutive Sweet 16 for the first time as a host.
