Auburn Faces Tulsa in NIT Championship

Auburn Tigers and Tulsa Golden Hurricanes face off in the 2026 NIT championship game Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The NIT championship features two teams that could've made the NCAA Tournament, with Auburn coming off an 88-66 semifinal win and Tulsa having three of their four tournament wins decided by five points or less. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2 from Indianapolis.

Auburn holds a 10-0 record against non-Power Conference teams this season and previously defeated Tulsa 74-55 in the 2009 NIT. Tulsa is seeking its third NIT championship after winning titles in 1981 and 2001.
