The Portland Trail Blazers organization has been fined $100,000 and two assistant general managers suspended for illegal contact with Yang Hansen prior to the 2025 NBA draft.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN.x.com, the NBA penalized the Trail Blazers for violating league rules by having improper contact with Yang Hansen two years ago. Assistant GMs Mike Schmitz and Sergi Oliva received suspensions, though the duration was not specified in the report.
