The Nashville Sounds took three of four games from Charlotte, while the Biloxi Shuckers dropped two of three games in their season-opening series.

Nashville Sounds outfielder Luis Lara continued his hot start, hitting .412 with a home run and three walks over the weekend. Luke Adams led the offense with eight RBIs and two home runs, while Coleman Crow threw six scoreless innings.

Down on the farm, Jesus Made and Blake Burke homered for the Biloxi Shuckers, but the Double-A affiliate dropped two of three games.
