Broncos Coach Rizzi Wants NFL to Ban Kickoff Holders

Broncos special teams coach Darren Rizzi organized a conference call with coordinators to address the NFL's dynamic kickoff rule. He argues that the current allowance of a 12th player as a holder is being exploited to gain a tactical advantage rather than just for weather protection.

The group wants the ball to be placed on a tee for all kickoffs, with holders only permitted if wind is blowing the ball off the tee. Rizzi stated, "We don't want the ball on the edge, we don't want the ball on the ground, we don't want the ball held sideways. We want just a regular kickoff." asg-reflektory.pl
