Broncos Sign OLB Ron Stone, Release WR Hakeem Butler

The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with outside linebacker Ron Stone Jr. and released wide receiver Hakeem Butler in corresponding roster moves.

Both Stone and Butler played in the UFL this spring. Stone, 26, recorded 5.5 sacks and five tackles for loss with the Columbus Aviators. He also played for the Michigan Panthers in the spring of 2025, totaling 3.5 sacks and four tackles for loss. Stone previously signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2024 but was waived with an injury designation at roster cutdowns. ipltable.lol
