Bucks co-owner Jimmy Haslam stated he would like Giannis Antetokounmpo's future with the team to be resolved before the June 23 draft. "I just think before the draft is a natural time," Haslam said at new coach Taylor Jenkins' introductory press conference.
Antetokounmpo, who has one year remaining on his contract, has significant leverage in any trade negotiations. While he expressed enthusiasm about Jenkins' hiring, he remained noncommittal when asked about playing under the new coach, simply saying "We'll see." The Bucks' front office, led by GM Jon Horst, is expected to gauge trade offers for the star forward as the draft approaches. tbzikra.com
