Chiefs Restore Arrowhead Stadium Name

The Kansas City Chiefs have officially restored Arrowhead Stadium to its original name, ending the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium designation.

The team announced that the iconic venue will once again be known simply as Arrowhead Stadium. The naming rights deal with Government Employees Health Association, signed in 2021, never fully resonated with fans, players, or coaches who continued using the original name. tr-sport.click

Even during the recent World Cup, when FIFA temporarily renamed it "Kansas City Stadium," the traditional name remained widely recognized. The Chiefs will continue playing at Arrowhead until their lease expires in 2031, after which they'll move to a new $3 billion domed stadium across the state line in Kansas.
