Crystal Palace Target Lens Manager Pierre Sage

Crystal Palace have turned their attention to French manager Pierre Sage after he led Lens to second place in Ligue 1 this season. The club had initially preferred Andoni Iraola, who is now in discussions with Liverpool about succeeding Arne Slot.

Sage inherited a Lens side last June who had finished eighth and transformed them into title contenders, finishing just six points behind Paris Saint-Germain. He also won the Coupe de France with the club.
