Dubois Unifies Lightweight Titles in London Showdown

Caroline Dubois outpointed a bloodied Terri Harper to become the unified lightweight world champion at London's Olympia.

Dubois floored Harper with a jab and left hook in the sixth round, then outpointed her on the judges’ scorecards (98‑91, 97‑92, 98‑91) to claim the WBO belt in addition to her WBC title. Harper, who suffered a cut from a head clash in the eighth, continued to fight until the final bell.

The bout marked the first UK show by Most Valuable Promotions at Olympia and saw Dubois extend her record to 13‑1. The historic venue, last used for headline fights by Chris Eubank Jr and Prince Naseem Hamed, hosted the long‑awaited lightweight title unification.
