The Eagles are promoting Montgomery VanGorder to assistant quarterbacks coach, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports. VanGorder will join Parks Frazier, who was recently promoted to quarterbacks coach from passing game coordinator, in the quarterbacks room.
VanGorder joined the Eagles last season as a quality control coach after playing college football at Notre Dame (2014-17) and Youngstown State (2018). He began his coaching career at Georgia in 2019, where he worked as an offensive quality control coach through 2024. The Eagles' new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, who arrived from the Packers, will work alongside Frazier and VanGorder to help Jalen Hurts find consistency after an inconsistent season.
