F1 pundit slams Colapinto's 'outrageous' Baku crash

Former McLaren mechanic Marc Priestley has branded Franco Colapinto's Turn 1 collision at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix 'outrageous', but dismissed Lando Norris's demand for a race ban.

Colapinto attempted a move down the inside into Turn 1 during a safety car restart in Baku, but locked up and collided with his Alpine team-mate Pierre Gasly. The incident caused significant damage to both cars and affected other competitors in the race. xsportfeed.life

Priestley criticized the move as reckless while noting that a race ban would be excessive punishment for the incident.
