White, a sophomore forward from Ottawa, Ohio, played in 29 games this season, averaging 0.9 points per game. The former top-125 recruit appeared in 48 games overall for the Buckeyes and will have two years of eligibility remaining. White had a standout high school career at Ottawa-Glandorf, where he helped lead the Titans to consecutive state championship game appearances.
He is the second Ohio State player to enter the transfer portal this offseason, following Devin Royal. The Buckeyes finished the season with a 21-13 overall record and a 12-8 mark in Big Ten play before being eliminated in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
