The Cleveland Guardians defeated the Kansas City Royals 11-5 on Saturday night to clinch their third straight AL Central title, securing the No. 2 seed in the American League playoffs.

Patrick Bailey and Brayan Rocchio each hit two home runs as the Guardians (85-76) earned their seventh division crown in 11 seasons. Cleveland's victory coupled with Chicago's loss gave them a two-game lead over the White Sox (83-78) with one game remaining.

With the division title secured, Cleveland will have a first-round bye and home-field advantage in the best-of-five Division Series against the winner of the Wild Card matchup between the No. 6 seed White Sox and either Houston or Texas. liveiplscore.homes
