JC France, grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France Sr., had taken the lead by winning Race #1 in his 2014 NASCAR Cup Chevrolet Camaro, which was wrapped to resemble the Garage 56 NASCAR entry. Jordan's performance in the final two races, however, was enough to clinch the overall title in the historic first event.
