Justin Fields Could Return to NY Giants

Justin Fields has emerged as a possible option for the Giants, who are expected to make a move as soon as Monday. Fields was traded by the Jets to the Chiefs as backup for Patrick Mahomes, and multiple reporters have mentioned him as a possibility for New York. cricket-ipl.co.za

The Giants are evaluating all options following starter Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee surgery. Fields' two-year, $40 million contract includes $10 million guaranteed for 2026, with the Jets paying $7 million and the Chiefs $3 million. The Chiefs could potentially recoup their 2027 sixth-round pick and unload the remainder of Fields' 2026 salary if he moves to the Giants.
