Lions' Kerby Joseph Starts Season on Reserve/PUP List

Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph will open the 2026 season on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, sidelining him for at least the first four weeks.

Joseph has been hampered by a degenerative knee condition that limited him to just six games in 2025. The AP first-team All-Pro safety recorded three interceptions last season but will miss the early stretch as the team looks to sustain its Super Bowl window. tbzikra.com
