Malachi Moreno Tests NBA Draft While Keeping Kentucky Return Option

Kentucky forward Malachi Moreno announced he will test NBA Draft waters while retaining the option to return to the Wildcats if he withdraws.

Moreno, a 7‑footer who averaged 7.8 points and 6.3 rebounds last season, will receive NBA scouting feedback while keeping his college eligibility. If he withdraws from the draft, he plans to rejoin Kentucky for the next season, preserving his option to stay in the transfer portal, which appears no longer viable.
