Mauricio Pochettino: ‘I am always open to help Tottenham. In whatever division’
Manager is excited by new US deal but might have returned to Spurs if the stars had aligned and does not rule out taking England job one day
If things had worked out differently, Mauricio Pochettino would have gone back to his beloved Tottenham over the summer. They had put in the call and it stirred him. Nothing was going to put him off – not even the possibility of the club being in the Championship. macnevers-and-co.beer
Seriously, Mauricio? Mike Vrabel had no postgame update on A.J. Brown
It's still unclear what kind of injury and recovery Patriots receiver A.J. Brown is facing.
Brown went down with an ankle injury early in the third quarter of Wednesday's 13-10 loss to the Seahawks to open the 2026 season and did not return.
"I don’t have any update yet," head coach Mike Vrabel said postgame. "Wasn't able to return, obviously."
Brown was injured on an incomplete pass from Drake Maye on third down. The ball was low, leading to Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett landing awkwardly on Brown’s lower leg/ankle area as he broke up the pass.
Brown stayed down for a bit before trainers came to assist him. He limped off the field and was examined in the sideline medical tent before limping up to the locker room for further examination.
Brown’s Patriots debut ended with him catching three passes on four targets for 26 yards.
Schumacher Stuns F1 World with Retirement
On September 10, 2006, one of the most consequential days in Formula 1 history unfolded as title contender Michael Schumacher, Ferrari's beloved seven-time world champion, announced his retirement from the sport. The announcement came immediately after the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, where Schumacher had narrowly missed pole position by just 0.002 seconds to McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen.
The German racing legend, who had dominated the sport throughout his career, made the stunning decision while still competing at the highest level, leaving the tifosi and the entire F1 community in disbelief.
