MI Coach Jayawardene Backs Ghazanfar as Team's X-Factor

Despite conceding 51 runs in their opening match, Mumbai Indians head coach Mahela Jayawardene has backed young Afghan spinner Allah Ghazanfar as the team's 'X-factor.'

Jayawardene believes Ghazanfar is a long-term prospect who adds depth to the squad alongside Mitchell Santner, Will Jacks, and Mayank Markande. He noted that only a few bad deliveries cost the spinner against Kolkata Knight Riders.
