Michigan State's NCAA tournament run ended in heartbreak Saturday, falling 4-3 in overtime to Wisconsin after leading 3-1.

Wisconsin scored twice in the final 34 seconds of regulation to force overtime before winning on Ben Dexheimer's goal just 24 seconds into the extra frame. The loss marks the third consecutive year a No. 1 seeded Spartans team failed to reach the Frozen Four.

MSU finished the season with a 26-9-2 record.
