France and Italy played to a 1-1 draw in Nations League action, with Zidane's first home game ending in controversy as France finished with 10 men.

Michael Olise put France ahead in the 55th minute with a curling shot that went in off the crossbar, following a short free kick taken by Rayan Cherki. Poor defending allowed Italy's Alessandro Bastoni to equalize with a low shot inside the right post.

France ended the match with 10 men after Dayot Upamecano's late dismissal, while Northern Ireland boosted their promotion chances with a 3-0 win over Ukraine. Belgium secured a 3-0 victory against Turkey in League A. xsportfeed.life
