The NCAA Rules Committee has approved an automated ball-tracking system for the 2026 SEC Tournament, allowing teams to challenge strike calls similar to Major League Baseball.

Teams will have three challenges to start the game, retaining the ability if the call is overturned. The system, set to debut in Hoover, Alabama, from May 19-24, will display the verified pitch location on stadium screens.
