Shokalook Signs MLS Contract After Next Pro Success

Jason Shokalook has signed an MLS contract through 2026 with Chicago Fire after an impressive 2025 season where he won the Golden Boot in MLS Next Pro.

Jason Shokalook, who grew up in Erie, PA, has committed to Chicago Fire through the 2026 MLS season with options for 2027 and 2028. The striker earned this promotion after a stellar 2025 campaign in MLS Next Pro, where he scored a league-high 20 goals and was named a finalist for the MVP award.

Selected 35th overall in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, Shokalook began his professional journey in the reserves before making his MLS debut against D.C. United. His journey from traveling between Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan for youth soccer to now securing his first full MLS contract highlights his dedication and talent.
