Spain Fans Face Investigation Over Anti-Muslim Chants

Police in Spain are probing reports of Islamophobic and xenophobic chants during the friendly match against Egypt in Barcelona. The investigation follows repeated anti‑Muslim chants from some supporters.

Spain’s coach Luis de la Fuente and Justice Minister Félix Bolaños publicly denounced the behaviour, calling it xenophobic and racist. Both officials urged the football federation to take action against the offending fans.
