Sparks trade Kelsey Plum to Mercury for draft picks

The Los Angeles Sparks traded All-Star guard Kelsey Plum to the Phoenix Mercury for a first-round pick and Monique Akoa Makani ahead of Sunday's deadline.

The deal also includes a second-round draft choice in 2028. Plum, who has been out since June 21 with a lower leg injury, joins a Mercury team looking to bolster its roster. rocore.sbs
