Dan Hurley was displeased with UConn's defensive effort in the 91-84 loss to Creighton. 'The defense has been a joke,' Hurley said. 'It was a game of just really bad individual defense. Our defense has been so bad. We've been playing with fire. Obviously, overall defense was just dreadful.'
Despite freshman Braylon Mullins scoring a game-high 25 points, UConn struggled defensively as Creighton scored 45 first-half points. The Huskies face a challenging schedule with games against Villanova and St. John's coming up.
