Woody Johnson Buys Stake in F1

Jets owner Woody Johnson has purchased a minority stake in the Aston Martin F1 team and will serve as its vice chairman.

Johnson, who also owns 43% of Premier League club Crystal Palace and bought the New York Jets in 2000, expressed his appreciation for Aston Martin's history and executive chairman Lawrence Stroll's vision.

The Jets, last making the playoffs in 2010, are owned by Johnson who is now expanding his sports portfolio with the F1 investment. esporist.com
