Yankees spring training disrupted by sewage leak

A sewage leak disrupted the New York Yankees' spring training game against the Tigers at Steinbrenner Field, forcing fans to navigate around contaminated areas and affecting the clubhouse.

The leak seeped into the Yankees' clubhouse bathroom and created pools of stinking water throughout the facility. Tampa's Department of Public Works is reportedly addressing the issue, which occurred when two sewer lines broke outside the main entrance just before the game.

Despite the unsanitary conditions, the Yankees managed to defeat the Detroit Tigers 20-3. Manager Aaron Boone commented on the situation, stating 'It's not great. It's all over the place,' while expressing hope for a quick cleanup before their next game against the New York Mets.
