As Las Vegas Raiders general manager John Spytek said, he expects to keep Maxx Crosby, but will always listen to trade offers. So, with trade speculation surrounding the Raiders’ star pass-rusher still percolating around the league, Silver and Black Pride put on its GM hat and received Crosby trade offers from around our SB Nation NFL sites.
Let’s look at what we received:
Baltimore Ravens via Baltimore Beatdown:
2027 first round pick, 2026 third round pick, 2027 third-round pick, WR Rashod Bateman, 2028 second-round pick if Raiders take on $20 million of Bateman’s contract.
Chicago Bears via Windy City Gridiron:
2026 first round (No. 25), 2027 third round, WR DJ Moore and willing to pay pay some of his salary.
Jacksonville Jaguars via Big Cat Country:
WR Bryan Thomas, RG Patrick Mekari, 2027 first-round pick.
Los Angeles Chargers via Bolts from the Blue:
2026 second round, 2027 third round, LB Kyle Kennard.
New England Patriots via Pats Pulpit;
2026 first round (No. 31), 2027 fourth-round pick, defensive tackle Christian Barmore.
San Francisco 49ers via Niners Nation:
Mac Jones, 2026 second round 20206 fourth round conditional.
Conclusion:
The Raiders are on the record, saying they want to keep Crosby. They would have to be blown away to move him. There have been reports it would take a Dallas-Green Bay Micah Parsons deal to make it happen. The Cowboys sent the Packers two first-round picks and veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark for the 26-year-old pass-rusher.
I received no such offers for Crosby, who will be August to start next season. While I appreciate the interest, frankly, many of these offers were quite stingy. Really, Bolts From the Blue?
There are some deals worth considering only if Crosby is adamant about getting a fresh start. In that case, all but the Chargers and 49ers’ offers are worth looking at somewhat.
My biggest problem is the deferred compensation. If you’re going to play with Crosby in 2026, you’re going to need some immediate firepower. I get that the 2027 draft is considered better overall than this year and the Raiders are in a rebuild, so later picks will be of value.
Still, we want more now.
To be honest, I don’t see the Raiders agreeing to any of these deals. So, I’m not either. If Crosby pushes the matter and forces a deal, I think I like Windy City Gridiron’s offer the best.
Which deal do you like best? Would you take any of them?
