The NFL Scouting Combine has come to an end, and now the wave of updated mock drafts has started to trickle out. After some of the rumblings and rumors coming out of Indianapolis, the Tennessee Titans are being connected to different targets.
While Jeremiyah Love has been the recent draft crush by multiple outlets, Lance Zierlein of NFL.com went a different direction, and surprisingly it wasn’t an edge rusher.
4. Tennessee Titans - Mansoor Delane - LSU - CB - Senior
Delane lacks top-end physical traits, but his coverage skills are the best you will find in this year's draft. Tennessee fills a big need for new coach Robert Saleh.
Delane is one of the best pure cornerback prospects in this class, and his elite instincts give him the ability to diagnose and react. More of a playmaker than an athlete, some teams may question his straight-line speed, but if you look past that, he has all of the traits coaches look for in a starting cornerback.
There is no doubt Delane will be taken in the first round, and the Titans definitely need some cornerback help, but without working out at the combine, questions about his athleticism will linger and likely cool his stock until his Pro Day.
