Numsurin Vs. Songchainoi II, More Bouts Confirmed For ONE Friday Fights 147

ONE Championship has confirmed four more compelling Muay Thai battles for ONE Friday Fights 147 on March 20, including a strawweight rematch between former ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Numsurin Chor Ketwina and Songchainoi Kiatsongrit.

The action-packed lineup broadcasts live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s historic Lumpinee Stadium, also showcasing Samingdam NF Looksuan vs. Kyaw Swar Win and Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi vs. Pompet PongSuphan PK in flyweight Muay Thai, and Ratchasiesan Laochokcharoen vs. Uzair Ismoiljonov in bantamweight Muay Thai action.

Explosive Thai warrior Numsurin edged Songchainoi via majority decision in their first meeting, setting the stage for this grudge match. The Tdet99 representative carries a 6-1 promotional record and impressive 105-20 career mark into the clash.

Known for his remarkable boxing, the 30-year-old Thai most recently challenged Japanese superstar Nadaka for the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship last November, absorbing a unanimous decision defeat. That title shot came on the strength of his victory over Songchainoi.

Now Songchainoi gets his chance at redemption. The talented striker holds a 10-1 promotional record with a 60-18 striking mark, with his only ONE defeat coming against Numsurin since his first promotional appearance in 2023.

That loss remains the only blemish on an otherwise stellar ONE tenure, fueling his motivation for the rematch.

Another exciting flyweight Muay Thai clash features Thai dynamo Samingdam against dangerous Myanmarese brawler Kyaw Swar Win.

Samingdam enters riding a four-fight winning streak that’s elevated his promotional record to eight victories. The aggressive Thai fighter carries a 46-9 striking record built on an overwhelming style that pressures opponents relentlessly.

Standing across from him is 24-year-old Kyaw Swar Win, who brings a jaw-dropping 58-1 career record into his sophomore ONE appearance. The Myanmar striker made an explosive promotional debut in January, flatlining Muga via TKO after securing four knockdowns in a devastating fashion.

Also confirmed is another crucial flyweight Muay Thai clash between Jaosuayai and Pompet, with both fighters seeking to reverse recent fortunes.

Jaosuayai, who represents Sor Dechapan, boasts 60 career victories and an 8-4 promotional record. The technical fighter with high fight IQ and heavy hands enjoyed a remarkable start to his ONE career.

But he finds his back against the wall after consecutive losses to young gun Akif “King” Guluzada and living legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao. A victory here is essential to reclaim momentum.

His opponent knows that pressure well. Pompet, 27, has experienced a rollercoaster ONE journey, accumulating seven promotional victories across 109 career wins. Coming off a loss himself, the Thai veteran understands the importance of bouncing back against quality opposition.

Rounding out the quartet is a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown between Thai power puncher Ratchasiesan and Uzbekistan’s Ismoiljonov.

Ratchasiesan formerly competed as Kulabdam and earned his “Left Meteorite” moniker through the explosive power of his left hand. The ONE veteran of 17 fights has faced many big names throughout his promotional career, bringing valuable experience into this matchup.

Facing him is 26-year-old Ismoiljonov from Team Mehdi Zatout, who has bounced back impressively after a difficult start.

The Uzbek striker suffered a debut loss in Muay Thai but demonstrated resilience by securing two impressive kickboxing victories. Now riding momentum, he looks to claim his third consecutive win.
