Blakes 35 leads Vanderbilt past Alabama 85-60

Mikayla Blakes scored 35 points to lead No. 5 Vanderbilt to an 85-60 victory over No. 24 Alabama on Thursday night. The Commodores secured a 16-0 home record for the first time in program history.

Vanderbilt outscored Alabama 31-16 in the second half to secure the win. With the victory, Vanderbilt moved up to the No. 2 seed in the SEC standings ahead of the tournament.
