Edwards Leads Timberwolves Past Short-Handed Clippers

Anthony Edwards scored 31 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 94-88 victory over the short-handed Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night.

Anthony Edwards scored 31 points and sealed the victory with a step-back 3-pointer as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 94-88. Donte DiVincenzo added 18 points while Jaden McDaniels and Ayo Dosunmu each scored 12 to help Minnesota improve to 5-1 since Feb. 9.

The Clippers, playing without star Kawhi Leonard due to an ankle injury, struggled offensively with a season-low 38 points in the first half. Derrick Jones Jr. scored 18 points and Bennedict Mathurin added 14 for Los Angeles, which lost three consecutive games for the first time since December.
