Moore Gets Hearing to Challenge Arrest

Former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore was granted an evidentiary hearing next month to challenge the validity of his arrest.

Former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore will have an evidentiary hearing on March 2 to challenge the basis of his arrest. His attorney argued that a detective failed to disclose the alleged victim worked with Moore in the football program, presenting a one-sided picture for probable cause.

Moore was fired in December and arrested hours later on charges including third-degree home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering. Prosecutors maintain sufficient evidence exists for the charges despite claims of withheld information.
