The San Jose Sharks ended a five‑game winless streak with a 5‑4 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Shakir Mukhamadullin broke a tie midway through the third period with a slap‑shot from the point, giving the Sharks their first win since Jan. 27.

Macklin Celebrini, Michael Misa, Barclay Goodrow and Alexander Wennberg also scored for San Jose, while Yaroslav Askarov made 20 saves. Edmonton’s Connor McDavid tallied three assists, and the Oilers’ goaltender Connor Ingram posted 28 saves.
