UNO Player Rescues Driver From Sinkhole Swallowing Cars

University of Nebraska-Omaha women's basketball player Olivia Borsutzki and teammate Esra Kurban rescued a man trapped in a sinkhole that swallowed two vehicles at an intersection.

Borsutzki, a 5-foot-11 junior guard, noted that while many bystanders filmed the incident, she felt compelled to act. The sinkhole, caused by a water main break, was approximately 30 to 50 feet wide. Her strength coach later praised her actions with a text reading, "Very strong, big dog."
