Arbeloa: 'We ride together' after Vini Jr racist abuse

Álvaro Arbeloa reaffirmed Real Madrid's stance of 'riding together and dying together' after Vinicius Jr allegedly suffered racist abuse during their Champions League win against Benfica.

Real Madrid's Álvaro Arbeloa emphasized zero tolerance for racism following the incident where Vinicius Jr reportedly was called a monkey by Benfica's Gianluca Prestianni. The Brazilian scored the only goal in their play-off victory before the alleged incident.

Play was paused for ten minutes as Vini Jr reported the comments to the referee. Prestianni denies the allegations, claiming the Real Madrid forward misunderstood what he heard. Arbeloa stated that regardless of Vini Jr's decision, the team would stand together against racism.
