Man jailed 21 years for killing partner

A man who murdered his partner by bludgeoning her with a towel rail and shower head has been sentenced to 21 years in jail.

The attack occurred in the bathroom of the victim's home. The defendant was handed a minimum prison term of 21 years for the fatal assault.
