It’s a little odd that we are in NFL Draft season, and there has been very little attention paid to the Notre Dame tight end in this year’s group. Notre Dame’s reputation for being TEU has been well earned, and generally an Irish tight end in the draft gets a little more press.
Usually… but it’s a little different this year with guys like Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price in the draft class. To be perfectly honest, Raridon’s time at Notre Dame wasn’t particularly fruitful, and he fought injuries during his entire time with the Irish.
And yet — we know the talent is there. That’s what the combine is there for as it pertains to prospects. How much talent and potential is there for a player to help an NFL team? At the combine we saw quite a bit of that potential from Raridon with a performance that likely helped him on the draft boards.

Wingspan: 80″

40 Yard Dash
Raridon’s impressive 40 yard dash time combined with his physical frame really makles him a much more interesting prospect moving forward. Mel Kiper has him as the 4th ranked TE in the draft, though it’s uncertain what round he eventually is selected. It is certain to say, however, that Raridon’s performance at the combine improved his draft stock and he will easily continue the streak of Notre Dame starting tight ends being drafted.
