Cox Leads Purdue Past Northwestern After Slow Start

C.J. Cox scored 21 of his 27 points in the second half to lead No. 14 Purdue to a 70-66 victory over Northwestern.

The Boilermakers avoided a third consecutive loss despite a sluggish start. Cox's hot shooting, including four 3-pointers in the second half, helped Purdue rally from a deficit.

Trey Kaufman-Renn added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Purdue's eight turnovers in the first half contributed to Northwestern's strong start, but the team recovered to secure the road win.
