Cooper Witten commits to Oklahoma, following father Jason

Oklahoma landed four-star linebacker Cooper Witten, who announced his commitment on Tuesday, two months after his father, Jason Witten, joined the coaching staff.

Cooper Witten selected Oklahoma over SEC rivals Georgia, Texas A&M, and Tennessee. The four-star linebacker ranks as the No. 2 prospect in the 2027 class.

His commitment significantly boosts Oklahoma's recruiting class to second nationally behind Ohio State. Jason Witten, the program's new tight ends coach and a former Pro Bowler, joins his son in Norman.
